Try these Easy Heart Cut-Outs with your kids or classroom for Valentine’s Day!  Press Heart Cookie Cutters onto Craft Foam Sheets and then cut along the indention for the perfect heart cut-out!  Or trace the heart indention with a permanent marker for a great Valentine’s Day Card.  Either way kids will have fun with Cookie Cutters and Craft Foam!

Press metal cookie cutters onto craft foam to form an indention on the craft foam.  Please Note:  the cookie cutters will not cut the craft foam.  It will only indent the craft foam in order for it to be cut with scissors.

Use Cookie Cutters to indent craft foam to make the perfect heart cut-outs.

At this point you can either cut the heart out or trace it with a permanent marker (we used Sharpie Markers) and then cut it out.

Craft foam is super easy to cut with scissors.  Below are 2 examples of Craft Foam Hearts that were cut simply by following the indention the cookie cutter made on the foam.  We did not trace these hearts before cutting them.

Here is another option for using Craft Foam and Cookie Cutters without scissors.  Simply trace the heart indention with a permanent marker!  This is perfect for the cover of a Valentine’s Day Card or a picture.

Press Cookie Cutters onto craft foam and trace with markers!

Press multiple hearts and trace in different colors of permanent markers for a great Valentine’s Day card or picture.

Use Cookie Cutters to make Hearts!

Add dots and lines for embellishments, the year, or personalize.  Attach to folded card stock for a great Happy Valentine’s Day Card!
