Holiday Gift Tags

As hard as it is to believe, it’s time to start thinking about holiday gifts. Here is a start… Make these adorable Christmas Bulb Gift Tags for your holiday gift wrapping this season. Easily tie gift tags onto gift bags or attach to presents. This is a great Sunday School and Classroom Craft too! Gift tags are made with pre-cut Foam Christmas Bulbs, Sequins, Jewels, and Ribbon. So simple and yet kids will love creating these for their friends and family. No drying time with our favorite “Glue Dots” that are made right here in the USA!

Supplies Needed:

Directions for Making Christmas Bulb Gift Tags:

1) Attach Primary Colored Round Stick on Jewels to the center of the 5/8″ Spoke Sequins. Both packs include colors that match perfectly. Or mix and match colors. Here is what they will look like with the jewel in the center:

2) Lay out 1-3 Sequins w/ Jewels on the Christmas Bulb Shapes in whatever pattern you would like. Once you have the pattern you like, attach the sequins to the foam bulbs with Mini Glue Dots. Here are a few pattern ideas:

3) With a permanent marker (Sharpie or Foam Marker), write “To” and “From” on each gift tag. You can also write the year or a special message. Optional: trace over the pre-punched indention’s at the top of the Christmas Bulbs.

4) These 2mm foam shapes punch easily with a single hole punch (for paper). Hole punch each shape at the top for the ribbon.

5) Lastly, loop Sheer Ribbon and thread through the hole and pull ends back through. This will make it easy to tie these gift tags to the handles on gift bags.

6) That’s it! Kids will love creating these for the gifts they will give this holiday season. Here is a helpful tip for classroom crafts and Sunday School… Unroll a few Mini Glue Dots (leave on the paper backing) and attach the Sequins to the Mini Glue Dots (shown below). Then you can give students the paper backing, foam shapes, and markers ready and they will be ready to create!
