Fruit of the Spirit Visors

These “Fruit of the Spirit” Foam Visors are the perfect craft for your next Women’s Ministry event or fruit of the Spirit study! Using ABC Stickers add LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, or SELF CONTROL to visors, attach Cherry Shapes with Glue Dots, and embellish with Rhinestones & Jewels! No cutting or drying time required. Visors are one size fits all.

Supplies Needed:

Foamies Visors (one size fits all)
Red Foam Cherry SHAPES
18mm Multi Rhinestones
5mm Crystal Stick on Jewels
1/2″ Craft Glue Dots
ABC Stickers or Foam ABC Stickers
Optional: Permanent or Foamies Markers

Directions for Making Fruit of the Spirit Foam Visors:

1) Choose letters for one Fruit of the Spirit word (Love, Joy, Peace, etc) from the ABC Sticker Sheet and attach to the front of the Foam Visor. Foamies Markers or any permanent marker can also be used instead of glitter stickers to write the words. Place in the middle or near the bottom edge of the left or right side of the visor as the Cherry Shape will go on the opposite side of the word. Below we applied PEACE on the left side and centered it between the top and the bottom of the visor.

2) Using 1/2″ Craft Glue Dots, attach one Bunch of Cherries to the opposite side of the Glitter Stickers. Simply press each cherry to a Glue Dot (on a roll) and the Glue Dot will attach to the foam. Add a Glue Dot to the leaf at the top. Then press the bunch of cherries onto the visor. The Glue Dots will provide a secure hold to the visor. Best of all there is no drying time needed! Optional: if you already have Mini Glue Dots, add one to the very top of the stem. If not, the 1/2″ Glue Dots will work just fine.

3) Now it’s time to add the Rhinestones and Stick on Jewels! Attach the 18mm (approximately 3/4″ round) Large Multi Acrylic Rhinestones with Glue Dots. The Red Rhinestones fit perfectly inside each cherry! Don’t forget to add a Large Green Rhinestone to the leaf! When the large rhinestones are attached, peel and stick the 5mm (less than a 1/4″) Tiny Crystal Stick on Jewels to the visor and the cherries for more sparkle! Please note: the 5mm Crystal Rhinestones are super tiny. The paper backing on each tiny rhinestone is hard to peel with thick artificial nails.

4) These make a great craft for a Women’s Ministry event or study on the Fruit of the Spirit!

More Ideas:

Add 3) 5mm Stick on Jewels above the Large Red Rhinestones on the cherries. This is pictured below on the navy visor. Then place a stick on jewel on the stem and leaf.

Instead of the Large 18mm Rhinestones, use only 5mm Crystal Stick on Jewels to embellish the visor. Also, use Black Script ABC Stickers instead of glitter stickers.
